Having spent more than 30 years working in the media industry as a writer, broadcaster, editor, and publisher, Garbhán Downey set up Colmcille Press publishing house in 2019.

Colmcille Press publishes books with a focus on history, sport, fiction, poetry, biography and the Irish language.
